Cricket commentator Aakash Chopra has shut down Suryakumar Yadav’s trollers. Many fans targeted Suryakumar Yadav for his poor batting show in the ICC World Cup 2023 final. Yadav hit 18 runs from 28 balls in the final and failed to fire towards the end.

Now, Yadav has been made the captain of the Indian team in the upcoming India vs Australia T20I series. Since both Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya are unavailable for the series, Yadav has been promoted as the skipper.

Aakash Chopra Shuts Down Suryakumar Yadav’s Trollers

After some fans trolled Suryakumar Yadav, Aakash Chopra came out in his support. In his YouTube video, Chopra said that why fans are blaming just one person. He also noted that batters like Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill got out for just 4 runs in the final.

“Suryakumar Yadav has been made the captain because he didn’t get opportunities to do a lot in the World Cup. When he got a chance in the final, he couldn’t do much and because of that, he has been trolled a lot. It pains you at times. Why are you blaming one person?”

“It was a difficult pitch and he didn’t fire. That pitch probably didn’t suit him that much as well. He scored runs against England and didn’t get a chance to score runs in other games. Even Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer didn’t score runs in the final, so why are you blaming him?” Aakash Chopra said.
