Rinku Singh, the young cricketer from Uttar Pradesh, has recently spoken up about his ambitions to play in the Indian national team. In an interview, he mentioned that many people have been talking about his potential and advocating for his selection to the Indian National Team.

The 26-year-old Southpaw had a tremendous season, finishing with 474 runs, including four fifties and a strike rate of 149.53.

Rinku Singh has had a memorable season in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year, but despite dominating the league with his batting prowess, the explosive middle-order batsman is not considering consideration for the national squad.

Rinku had not yet reached a half-century in the first four years of his IPL career, although he had amassed 251 runs. However, the 25-year-old has scored 474 runs with four fifty-pluses for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season.

Last month, he made headlines when he slammed five sixes off five deliveries to chase down the Gujarat Titans’ enormous mark in the final over when they needed 29 to win.

“I don’t think much” – Rinku Singh On India Call-Up

Rinku Singh, a left-handed batsman who was just chosen for the Indian cricket team, indicated that he is unconcerned about his selection. While the 23-year-old player was eager to represent his country, he did not want to put too much pressure on himself or his set.

“Everyone has been saying that the name should come; I am in my own mind; I do my own thing; I have started practicing, going to the gym, and running again, what I used to do earlier; if I think too much, then divert my mind. Huh, so I don’t think much,” Rinku Singh said in an interview with Sports Hour.

Rinku was the shining light for Kolkata, who finished the season without a playoff position for the second year in a row.
