“Rinku Singh then asked ‘mere baare mein baat chal rahi thi kya’. (were people talking about me?) I said – ‘whatever you did today. I don’t think anyone will be able to do this again,’. He is such a good person, very humble, very down to earth and a simple person,” he stated.
“He often says ‘there is no substitute for hard work’ and is the only thing that will push him forward. We have shared rooms and batting creases since our childhood. He is from Aligarh and Agra. The two places are close to each other. He is a hard-working cricketer,” he added.
