The Delhi Capitals (DC) have made changes to their coaching staff following their poor performance in the latest edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Delhi Capitals announced on Thursday that they would not retain Ajit Agarkar and Shane Watson for the upcoming edition of the tournament.

The Delhi-based franchise finished in ninth place in the 10-team points table in the IPL 2023. The Capitals managed to win just five games out of 14 this season. Veteran opener David Warner led the team in place of regular skipper Rishabh Pant, who was ruled out of the tournament due to injuries.

“You’ll always have a place to call home here. Thank You, Ajit and Watto, for your contributions. All the very best for your future endeavours,” the DC tweeted.
