New Zealand World Cup Squad 2023, Players List, Schedule, Team List.  New Zealand will commence its journey in the ICC World Cup 2023 with a clash against England. New Zealand will face England in the tournament opener on October 5.

ICC World Cup 2023 will be played in India. A total of 10 teams are part of the tournament. New Zealand, England, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are 10 teams that will battle for the trophy.

The tournament takes place in a round-robin format. Hence, each team will face the other team once during the league stage. New Zealand will play 9 games ahead of the semi-finals. Their first match is against England. Kiwi will face Sri Lanka in their final league stage match on November 9.

New Zealand has never won any ICC ODI World Cup title. However, they have reached the semi-finals and finals numerous times. In the last two editions of the World Cup in 2019 and 2015, New Zealand reached the final and ended as runners-up.

New Zealand was led by Kane Williamson in the previous edition of the World Cup. This time, they will be led by their new skipper Tom Latham. New Zealand is one of the strongest teams in the tournament, who are known to showcase amazing performances in ICC campaigns.
