India head coach Rahul Dravid has praised Rohit Sharma for his leadership in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. There were apprehensions that the team might underperform due to the huge pressure but Rohit Sharma has marshaled his troops with utmost aplomb so far.

India have been the best and the most dominant team in the World Cup so far. With 8 wins from 8 games, they are currently at the top of the points table. They began their campaign with a 6-wicket win over Australia before thrashing Afghanistan by 8 wickets. It was followed by victories over Pakistan and Bangladesh with a similar margin of 7 wickets.

In their fifth game, the Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets to remain the only unbeaten side in the competition. After winning the first five games while chasing, India won their next three games while defending. They bowled out England for just 129 runs while defending a modest total of 229. It was followed by a huge 302-run win over Sri Lanka after they bowled out the Islanders for just 55. In their last outing, India bowled out high-flying South Africa for just 83 runs to register a huge win of 243 runs.
