The 45th and last group stage match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is currently underway between the Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Scott Edwards-led Netherlands National Cricket Team on Sunday, November 12, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

Rohit Sharma was quick to start the fireworks against the Dutch on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. He brought out an aggressive avatar and powered India to a great start. The attacking brand of cricket from the Indian openers helped the team reach 50 runs in 6 overs and 91 runs in 10 overs. This was the highest first powerplay total conceded by the Netherlands in the ongoing edition of the World Cup.

The Indian captain did that when he smashed Colin Ackermann for a beautiful 92-m six on the fourth ball of the 7th over. He smashed an 88.7kph delivery over the long-on for a mammoth maximum.
