His 28 sixes are also the most by any player in a single edition, surpassing Chris Gayle’s 26.

Meanwhile, India have booked their place in the final with a 70-run win over New Zealand in the first semifinal. India will face the winner of the second semifinal between Australia and South Africa in the final on November 19.
