Wasim Jaffer has humorously responded to an accusation made against India in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Team India have been the most dominant side in the tournament and have won all of their ten teams.

After being accused of manipulating the DRS and bowling with a different ball, India have also been accused of cheating in the toss. Recently, former Pakistan cricketer Sikandar Bakht recently pointed fingers at India captain Rohit Sharma. With Rohit throwing the coin a bit far from him and the other captain, Bakht suggested that he did it so that the opposition captain wouldn’t see the result.

“Can I be allowed a little mischief? At the time of the toss, Rohit Sharma throws the coin far from the range of any opposition captain. Thus, the opposition captain cannot go and cross-check about the call,” Bakht said on a Pakistani channel.

Wasim Jaffer Reacts To Sikander Bakht’s Comments

Wasim Jaffer has reacted hilariously to the controversy. One day before the much-awaited final, the former India opener posted a video in which the captain is seen throwing the coin far away for the toss and wrote:

“Hope @ImRo45 does this at the toss tomorrow just to make fun of all the baseless theorists 😂”

Following the toss controversy, Pakistan legend Wasim Akram slammed Bakht for his distasteful comment as he said: “Who decides where the coin should land? The mat is just for sponsorship! I feel embarrassed. I can’t even… I don’t even want to comment on it.”

India eye World Cup title:

Team India would be looking to extend their winning run in the ongoing ICC World Cup and win the title. India have stormed into the final after winning all of their ten matches so far. They are the only unbeaten side in the competition.

In the final, the Men in Blue will lock horns against Australia. The team from Down Under began their campaign with two defeats before winning eight games in a row. The final is scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday (November 19).
