Indian captain Rohit Sharma yet again came up with a hilarious moment at the press conference. The right-hander was addressing the media ahead of the final of the ICC World Cup 2023 against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Rohit Sharma has often been producing such moments at press conferences. He has given some hilarious replies to the reporters and has left many in splits. The Indian captain has also earned a lot of praise for his such moments in the press conferences.
As Rohit Sharma came to attend the press conference ahead of the World Cup final, the presenter said “Guys we have with us…,” to this, the Indian captain interrupted and stated “Arre stop this man, everyone knows this. Start the Press Conference.”

Coming to the game, India will take on Australia on 19th November in Ahmedabad. It’ll be one of the biggest clashes in the history of cricket as over 1 lakh people are expected to be there in the stadium. Apart from this both the teams have also played a sensational brand of cricket.

But he’s very happy now and he never thought that he would lead the team in World Cup final. He also talked about the team environment, saying that he’s delighted with the space created by him and Rahul Dravid. He explained:
“It was a very emotional and hard time in 2011 but I am very happy at this stage, I never thought I will lead the team in a final but if you wish, that will happen – I just wanted to create a good space in the team”.
“I am very happy about the environment created by me & Rahul Bhai – players have responded well, without worrying about the outside noise or scores of a particular match”.
Rohit Sharma has scored 550 runs in the tournament in 10 innings. He Would be hoping to add to his tally and take the team to glory.
