The ‘biggest party of the summer’- CPL T20 2020- is just about heating up and the sixth game will see Trinbago Knight Riders square off against Jamaica Tallawahs at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.
Trinbago Knight Riders will be looking to emulate their performance from the opening game where they defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors by four wickets.
Sunil Narine was the star of the show for TKR in their opening fixture. The vile off-spinner claimed two crucial wickets of Chanderpaul Hemraj [3] and Ross Taylor, who was looking ominous during his 21-ball 33. Narine [2-19] and Ali Khan [1-21] were the pick of the bowlers as they restricted Guyana to 5-144.
Narine, then, came back and smashed a whirlwind 28-ball 50- an innings which included four sixes and two fours- that helped Trinbago Knight Riders chase down 147.
Jamaica Tallawahs, on the other hand, will also be playing their second fixture on Thursday. At the time of writing, the Rovman Powell-led unit was locking horns with St Lucia Zouks.
