Former Team India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is likely to join the T10 league in two-three days, confirms chairman of the organising committee, Shaji Ul Mulk. The organisers are confident that the 10-day competition will catch everyone’s eye in a better way than T20 cricket.
Yuvraj last played in Global T20 Canada soon after announcing his retirement from international cricket and IPL in June this year. If the Punjab-born all-rounder signs up for the upcoming competition, this will be his second tournament after retirement.
Besides, it will also be a massive boost for the competition as the organisers are working hard to make it the best sporting event in the country. In a bid to do so, they are desperate to rope in Yuvraj Singh. Notably, Zaheer Khan along with many other Indian players are already a part of this competition.

“We are trying to get the best here. Zaheer Khan has already signed up along with 6-7 Indian players who played last year like Munaf Patel, Praveen Kumar and Pravin Tambe. Yuvraj Singh is almost there. We hope to make the announcement in two-three days. We are in final stage on negotiations with him,” Mulk said.
The 10-day Abu Dhabi T10 will from November 15 to 24. Shaji Ul Mulk feels the T10 tournament can have a better impact than T20s. They are looking to increase the number of days from 10 to 15 to make it more competitive.

“Any T20 tournament you are looking at minimum 20-30 days in the FTP. So a 10-day tournament is an affordable window. Next year we intend to play for 15 days,” Mulk concluded.
