Multan Sultans take on Quetta Gladiators in match 3 of PSL 2023. Multan Sultans lost their campaign opener against Lahore Qalandads by just one run. Match 3 will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium from 8 pm IST which is 7.30 pm IST.
Last season, Lahore Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans by 42 runs in the final to clinch the title. They are the defending champions of the tournament. Meanwhile, this season, Babar Azam is leading the Peshawar Zalmi while Imad Wasim is leading the Karachi Kings.

Six teams are part of PSL 2023. They are Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, and Islamabad United. All these teams will battle against each other for the trophy.
A total of 34 matches will take place during PSL 2023. During the league stage, each team will face the other team twice. After the league stage, the top 4 teams in the points table will reach playoffs. The bottom 2 teams will be eliminated. The final will be played on March 19 in Lahore.

Some of Pakistan’s top-class cricketers will be back in action in PSL 2023. Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah amongst others will be in action.
A total of 34 games will be played during PSL 2023. The opening game takes place on February 13. The final will take place on March 19. All the evening matches are scheduled to take place at 8 PM IST, excluding 3 games that will begin at 6 PM. The afternoon games will commence at 2 PM IST.

Multan Cricket Stadium has hosted 10 ODIs and six Test matches but is yet to host a T20I international The venue did not host any matches of PSL 2022. However, it hosted the PSL 2023 opener between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars which turned out to be a cliffhanger. Three domestic T20I matches have been played at this venue so far.
