“I am waiting for the time to come”: Babar Azam

Before to the Pakistan Super League match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars, the captain of the Zalmi Babar Azam was questioned about his impending nuptials when three of his colleagues were already married. (You are the captain. All of your players are getting married, and your hair is turning grey. So when are you planning to get married?), the journalist asked.

“My hair was always white, and it is not because of the fact that I am thinking about marriage. See, when the time is right, marriage will happen. I am waiting for the time to come, and you should wait too.” Babar Azam said in a hilarious response that sent the whole hall laughing.

Babar Azam is currently playing for Peshawar Zalmi following a protracted career with Karachi Kings. With 171 runs after 4 games, he now ranks third in the league in run production. With four points from four games, his team is fourth in the standings.
