The ongoing game between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United in the PSL 2023 has bagged a lot of attention as the game is turning out to be a high-scoring fixture.

Karachi Kings have managed to score over 200 runs, making it a challenging target for Islamabad to chase down. Initially, things were not looking good for Karachi as they lost their top-order batsmen after making decent starts, leaving them at 78 for 4.

However, Imad Wasim played a crucial role in guiding the team towards a competitive total, scoring an unbeaten 92 runs off 54 balls. He formed a valuable partnership of 99 runs with Irfan Khan for the 5th wicket, and then Wade contributed with a useful cameo to help Karachi Kings surpass the 200-run mark.

While batting was a key point of the innings, one of the meat incidents in the game happened in Tom Curran’s over of the first innings as Irfan Khan attempted to hit the ball high by charging down the wicket, but it resulted in a sky-high shot to long-on. Hasan Ali, fielding in that position, ran towards his left and managed to catch the ball while falling over the boundary rope.

Hasan Ali flicked the ball out of his hand towards Rassie, who was running from long-off to assist in completing the relay catch. Although Rassie was credited for the wicket on the scorecard, it was primarily Hasan Ali’s exceptional fielding skills that led to this dismissal, with Rassie playing only a minor role in the catch.
