The Lahore Qalandars has been providing excellent care to its players and offering them thrilling rewards during the dressing room ceremony to acknowledge their performance in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The Lahore team’s owners are presenting the players with iPhones and plots of land within the city as tokens of appreciation.

Last week, the franchise initiated a tradition of honoring players for their exceptional performance, which was first implemented after Lahore Qalandar’s triumph over Quetta Gladiators.

The franchise bestowed two overseas players with awards to recognize their match-winning contributions in the game. Sikandar Raza was gifted a plot of land, whereas Rashid Khan was presented with an iPhone 14 by the team owner. The players appeared to thoroughly enjoy the dressing room ceremonies, as evidenced by their beaming smiles.

In the match against Quetta, Rashid Khan played a crucial role in Lahore’s victory by scoring 21 runs off 20 deliveries and contributing to the team’s total of 148 runs. He also bowled a superb spell, conceding only 14 runs and taking 2 wickets. Quetta managed to score only 131/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

Meanwhile, Sikandar Raza’s unbeaten knock of 71 runs off just 34 balls was the key factor in helping Lahore Qalandars reach 100 runs mark. Additionally, he bowled one over during the match.

With 5 wins from 6 matches, Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions, are currently occupying the top spot in the points table. On the other hand, Quetta is languishing in last place with just one win. Lahore, led by Shaheen Afridi, will next play a home game against Multan Sultans in the 20th fixture of the tournament on Saturday.
