Abdul Razzaq’s wife recently revealed her first conversation with the cricketer during a TV show. She revealed that when she went to meet Razzaq, she took juice along with her and told the former Pakistan cricketer “Razzaq Bhai Juice Le Lo”. 

During a TV show, Abdul Razzaq’s wife was asked about how the couple tied the knot. She revealed that they used to be cousins but their parents made of decision to marry them. The wife of the cricketer revealed that when she first met him, the former player was resting up in the office. 

She said that her mom told her to go and give Abdul Razzaq some juice. And when she met the cricketer, she referred to him as bhai [brother] Narrating the whole incident, she explained: 

“The first time I came to meet him, he was sick and resting up in someone’s office. My mother had already made the relationship official and told me to go and give him juice. And when I went up, I said Brother take the juice (Razzaq Bhai, juice lelo).”

Abdul Razzaq recently was the hot soup in world cricket. He became the center of attraction for the comments that he made. The former Pakistan cricketer made some bizarre statements on the TV show and received a lot of criticism for his words.

Abdul Razzaq talked about Pakistan’s performance in the ICC World Cup 2023 and highlighted the team’s intentions. That was when he made distasteful comments on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan He had said: 

“Younis Khan had good intentions as a captain and it gave me confidence to perform better. Everyone over here is talking about the intention and Pakistan’s team. Actually, we don’t have good intentions to develop and polish players in Pakistan. If you think that by marrying Aishwarya Rai, a good and pious kid would be born, it would never happen.”

Various former cricketers from Pakistan lashed out at Abdul Razzaq and one among them was Shoaib Akhtar. He while talking about Razzaq’s comments said that no woman should be disrespected. 

He added that Shahid Afridi and Umar Gul, who were sitting there and laughing at his comments, should raise their voice. Taking to his X account, he stated: 

“I highly condemn the inappropriate joke/comparison made by Razzaq. No woman should be disrespected like this. People seated beside him should have raised their voice right away rather than laughing & clapping.”
