Gujarat Titans created history in the IPL 2023 Final by posting the highest-ever total in the tournament’s ultimate showdown. Defying expectations, the defending champions set an imposing target of 214 runs for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Surpassing Sunrisers Hyderabad’s record of 208 for 7 in the IPL 2016 Final against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans etched their name in the annals of the tournament. After winning the toss, CSK captain MS Dhoni elected to bowl first, considering rain to play a factor in the game.
