England National Cricket Team captain Ben Stokes has achieved a remarkable milestone in Test cricket and he has joined the legendary West Indies National Cricket Team all-rounder Sir Garfield Sobers and great South Africa National Cricket Team all-rounder Jacques Kallis in the elite list.

Ben Stokes is currently participating in the fifth and final Test of the Ashes 2023 at the Kennington Oval in London. England are 1-2 down in the series and they have failed to regain the Ashes urn. However, Ben Stokes & Co. have an opportunity to level the series 2-2 and deny Australia their first Test series win on English soil in 22 years.

Meanwhile, Stokes has become just the third player in history to score 6000 runs, bag 100 wickets, and take 100 catches in Test cricket. The first two players to achieve this unique feat were Sir Garfield Sobers and Jacques Kallis.

Heading into the fifth Test, Stokes had crossed the 6000 runs mark and 100 wickets mark in Test cricket. The all-rounder just needed to complete 100 catches to join the elite list and he did it in the 68th over of the Australian innings.

On the 5th ball of the 68th over, Joe Root delivered a full-length ball outside off-stump to Carey, and the batter got tempted to go for a big shot. The Australian wicketkeeper-batter targeted the cover region, but he only managed to hit it low at short cover where Stokes grabbed a good catch to complete the 100 Test catches landmark.
