Cricket and Bollywood have gone hands to hands in India with several Indian cricketers dating Bollywood actresses to later cheat them of getting cheated by them. The Dinesh Karthik-Murali Vijay saga is a great example in Indian cricketing when the Indian teammates literally went down to war over their wives.
More recently Mohammed Shami‘s wife Hasin Jahan alleged the cricketer of domestic violence and also accused him of cheating her as well. Shami was banned from playing for the national team till finally he was proven not guilty after a probe ordered by the Supreme Court of India.

The Indian cricketing fans are quite aware of the short-lived love story between the great Antiguan, Viv Richards, and Bollywood legend Neena Gupta. The two also have a daughter, now renowned fashion designer, Masaba Gupta. Richards and Neena were never married though, and that’s because the former was already a married man.
