India take on Zimbabwe in the third and final ODI on August 22 in Harare. They have already won the three-match ODI series having won the first two games. The KL Rahul-led side is now looking for a whitewash. The hosts on the other hand, are looking to salvage a win to keep their pride.
Zimbabwe have been totally outplayed by this Indian team on this trip. The highs of their ODI series win against Bangladesh have been negated by this Indian team The hosts were dismissed for a paltry 161 in the second ODI which was chased down inside 26 overs by the Indian team.
“I think we had a really good fight. Last few games we struggled to pick up early wickets and we managed to do that. Today we were short of a few runs. We were up for the challenge, the bowlers hit their lengths really well” said the Zimbabwean skipper Regis Chakabva after his side managed to take five Indian wickets in the second ODI. However, Sanju Samson scored an unbeaten 43 to ensure India wins the game.
