India and Zimbabwe face off for the one final time in the series in the third ODI on August 22, Monday in Harare. India have already won the series having won the first two games and are now looking to complete a whitewash. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, are looking to win the final ODI and salvage some pride.

India have made some experiments in this series so far. Some have worked and some haven’t. Shubman Gill has flourished at the top of the order. Shikhar Dhawan has scored runs and so has Sanju Samson. KL Rahul not scoring runs in the previous game is the only blip in the series so far. The Indian bowlers have stepped up their game so far as well.

“I do need some time in the middle, obviously playing this series was important for me to take some runs and confidence away, unfortunately didn’t work out today. They do have some quality bowlers, I saw that in the previous series against Bangladesh as well. The bowlers came strong at us, a good challenge for us. We are here to play good cricket and win, every opportunity is an honour, so we want to go out there next time also to enjoy ourselves and put a good performance” said Rahul.
