India
India has made a lot of experiments in their first two games. Some have worked some haven’t but several players have put their hand up and performed at various stages of the game. KL Rahul, not scoring runs so far has been the only blip in an otherwise fruitful campaign for India.
” I do need some time in the middle, obviously playing this series was important for me to take some runs and confidence away, unfortunately, didn’t work out today. They do have some quality bowlers, I saw that in the previous series against Bangladesh as well. The bowlers came strong at us, a good challenge for us. We are here to play good cricket and win, every opportunity is an honour, so we want to go out there next time also to enjoy ourselves and put a good performance” said Rahul on his performance and the performance of the team after the second ODI.

Zimbabwe
All of Zimbabwe’s hard work in the series win over Bangladesh has been undone in the series against India. They have been totally outplayed by a talented Indian team. The hosts will have to play the final ODI for pride and try to salvage a win. Skipper Regis Chakabva said that they had fewer runs on the board in the second ODI and did not have the fighting spirit which they need in the final game.
“Last few games we struggled to pick up early wickets and we managed to do that. Today we were short of a few runs. We were up for the challenge, the bowlers hit their lengths really well” said the Zimbabwe skipper after the game.
