Hardik Pandya is India’s premier all-rounder in white-ball cricket at the moment. He brings a different balance to the side whenever he plays in the XI. From being the sixth bowler in the side to being the finisher, Pandya is very flexible with any role that is given to him.

The all-rounder has already led India in T20Is in the last few bilateral series in the absence of Rohit Sharma. As per reports, he will soon be named India’s full-time captain in the T20I format and might well lead the side in the next T20 World Cup.

Having played international cricket for a few years now, Hardik has understood his game well. In between, he had a dip in form and had to stay out of the team due to a back injury. However, now he is fully fit and adds to the team’s cause in all three departments.

Leading the Gujarat Titans in the IPL has changed him entirely as a cricketer. Captaincy is something that comes naturally to him and his leading the Titans to their maiden title in their very first IPL season was a testament to the same.

However, now with Ravindra Jadeja fit, the debate as to who is a better all-rounder between the two will come up once again. The two can play together in the playing XI providing a lot better balance in the Indian team. Meanwhile, in this article, we take a look at five all-rounders apart from Hardik Pandya who deserve a place in India’s white-ball squads.

Having recovered from his knee injury, Jadeja is all set to come back into the Indian ODI and T20I sides. He has already made an impact since his return to the Test side and is now waiting for his chance in the white-ball games. Jadeja averages nearly 47 in Test matches with the bat in Tests. In ODIs and T20Is, he was a consistent performer for India before his injury and is expected to get back to the same once again.
