Yuzvendra Chahal has been a powerful spinner for the Indian team in the last 3-4 years. The right-arm spinner is the top wicket-taker for India in the shortest format with 91 wickets. In ODIs, he has picked 121 scalps in 72 games. He is yet to play a Test match for Team India. However, there is a narrow competition among spinners to grab a spot in the national team.

Although Chahal is a mighty leg spinner, his economy of 8.14 is a little high in the shortest format. Moreover, he will also turn 33 years old this year. Some spinners have impressed with their performances and they can be a better replacement for Chahal in T20Is. Here we take a look at 5 better spinners than Yuzvendra Chahal who deserve a place in the Indian cricket team.
