Australia won the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final against India after their exceptional show on the Day 5 of the final. They rattled India’s batting lineup on the last and made their mockery by bowling impeccable lines and lengths.
Scott Boland drew the first blood for his side after he removed Virat Kohli for 49 runs and then followed it up with the wicket of Ravindra Jadeja in the same over. Mitchell Starc joined hands with Nathan Lyon and wrapped up the lower order to win the game by a massive margin of 209 runs.

WTC Final: The wait for the ICC Trophy continues as India losses Another Final
It was another heartbreak for India in the ICC event as they suffered a massive 209 runs loss in the final of the ICC World Test Championship Final. After opting to bowl first, they didn’t have a good outing with the ball and centuries from Travis Head and Steve Smith took Australia to a total of 469 runs. With the bat, India were poor as they managed 296 runs with Ajinkya Rahane (89), Shardul Thakur (51) and Ravindra Jadeja (48) making contributions.

Australia then batted staggering well in the second innings and extended their lead to 173 runs, setting India a target of 444 runs. The Rohit Sharma-led side started well but they failed to step up once again under pressure. They were bowled out for just 234 runs to suffer another loss in ICC knockouts.
