A user on Twitter said that India won the T20 WC 2007 only because of MS Dhoni and pointed out that defeating Australia in Semi Final was quite a tough task for the team.

“No coach, no mentor, young boys, most of the senior player’s denied to take part. Never captained any single match before. This guy defeated prime Australia in semifinals and won a T20 World Cup in 48 days after becoming captain,” said the tweet.

Harbhajan Singh replied to the tweet and said that winning tournaments in India is attained by the captain. Harbhajan Singh said that cricket is a team sport and winning requires teamwork and can’t be done by a single player.
