Australian wicketkeeper-batter Matthew Wade and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis were seen with the Shoey Celebration in the dressing room after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
On Sunday, Australia thumped trans-Tasman rivals New Zealand with an eight-wicket victory to clinch their maiden T20 World Cup final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

In a video posted by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on its official Twitter handle, the Australians were seen celebrating their victorious campaign.
In the video, Wade was spotted pouring beer into his shoes and then started drinking from it. Stoinis took the shoe from Wade’s hand and did the same.

The celebration has been made famous by Australia’s Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo, who celebrates with his fellow podium finishers in the presentation ceremony.
Stoinis and Wade were involved in an unbeaten stand of 81 to finish the game against Pakistan in the semi-final.
Wade struck three massive sixes to Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi in the penultimate over to wrap the game for his side.
David Warner-Mitchell Marsh takes Australia to T20 WC title
In the final, Australia were asked to chase 173 by the Black Caps after Kane Williamson’s stupendous show with the bat.
Australian opener David Warner along with Perth batter Mitchell Marsh laid the foundation for Australia to script a spectacular partnership of 92 runs.
New Zealand pacer Trent Boult got rid of Australian skipper Aaron Finch in the third over. Warner was joined by Marsh and before New Zealand could capitalise on the situation, the duo took their bowlers to cleaners with Marsh being the wrecker in chief.
Warner, using his bottom-hand power, hit Ish Sodhi for a six straight down the pitch to score 17 runs of the leg-spinner’s over.
Warner scored 53 off 38 balls at the strike rate of 139.47 before he was bowled by Boult in the 13th over.
Marsh was straight into the business as he dispatched Adam Milne’s first ball for a six in the stands and from there he was unstoppable.
Marsh remained undefeated on 77 as he laced his innings with six fours and four sixes in what was a breathtaking knock.
