After suffering three consecutive losses, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots made a roaring comeback with an 8-wicket win over Trinbago Knight Riders on Saturday. With that win, they reached the top of the table and also confirmed their place in the playoffs.

The upcoming game will be a reverse fixture of the recently concluded game between the two sides. The last game between Trinbago Knight Riders saw notching 159 runs in the first innings. Colin Munro top-scored with 47 off 34 balls, however, none of the batsmen in the top order encourage a lot of optimism.
Skipper Colin Munro scored 15 off 13 balls, while Darren Bravo scored 22 in as many deliveries. Though, Sunil Narine’s unbeaten 33-run knock in 18 balls in the last few overs helped the team reach a competitive score.

Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots chased down the total quite comfortably in 14.4 overs, thanks to a brilliant match-winning century from Ewin Lewis. He scored an unbeaten 102-run knock-off 52 balls, a knock which was laced with 5 fours and 11 sixes.
Chris Gayle too gave a fine start to St. Kitts’ innings, scoring 35 off 18 balls. Sunil Narine was brilliant with the ball but he couldn’t pick wickets for the side. The rest of the batsmen, however, went for plenty of runs.
