The ZIM vs WI second Test gets underway in Bulawayo on February 12, 2023. The first Test between Zimbabwe and West Indies ended in a draw and hence the second Test becomes a must-win for both teams to win the series.

The first ZIM vs WI Test between the two teams saw three centurions with Windies skipper Kraigg Braithwaite scoring 182 Tagenarine Chanderpaul scoring 207 and Zimbabwe middle-order batter Gary Ballance scoring an unbeaten 137. Ballance after not getting many opportunities for England has restored back to playing for Zimbabwe, his country of birth.
Overall, West Indies vs Zimbabwe rivalry dates back to 1983 when the two teams played first against each other in ODIs. Both teams played the first Test against each other in 1999 and the first T20I against each other in 2010.
