Zimbabwe Cricket Team made a wild card entry into the list of the biggest wins in ODI cricket in terms of runs after their gigantic win over the United States of America (USA) in the 17th match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers.
Zimbabwe completed a massive 304 runs victory over the USA as they batted and bowled staggering well. They made their way into the super six stages of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers after winning 4 out of their 4 games in the league stage of the tournament.

Asked to bat first, Joylord Gumbie (78) and Innocent Kaia (32) stitched 56 runs for the opening partnership. The first wicket was a blessing in disguise for the team as it brought skipper Sean Williams to the crease. He played a blistering innings and made sure that his side are on top.

Williams scored 174 runs in 101 balls and was well supported by Sikander Raza and Ryan Burl, who scored 48 and 47 runs respectively as the hosts posted a total of 408 runs in their quota of 50 overs, their highest in ODIs. They continued the momentum in the bowling as they produced another masterful performance.

They kept chipping in with wickets at regular intervals and bundled the USA out for just 104 runs. Every bowler chipped in with wickets as they completed a massive 304 runs victory. Sikander Raza was the pick of the bowlers with his figure of 2/15 whereas Richard Ngarva also bagged two wickets.
