Shreyas Iyer slammed a 106-meter six and surpassed Glenn Maxwell to hit the biggest six in the ICC World Cup 2023. Before hitting this six, the batter hit two big sixes in his innings early on. He raced away to 30 runs in no time and is looking in a dangerous mood.

Earlier, India lost the toss and were asked to bat first. Skipper Rohit Sharma (4) lost his wicket early. But after that, Virat Kohli (88) and Shubman Gill (92) batted magnificently well. They added 189 runs partnership for the second wicket to put the team in a dominating position.

IND vs SL: Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul’s partnership gets over as the latter gets out

Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul batted aggressively. They took the attack to the Sri Lanka bowlers and cashed on the start given by Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. They added 60 runs for the partnership before the keeper-batter was back in the hut.

Chameera bowled a regular-length delivery that stopped on the pitch. The batter wanted to drive it but then stopped. The ball bounced a little more and KL Rahul couldn’t control the shot and handed an easy catch to the fielder. He went back for 21 runs off 19 balls.
