David Miller came to crease when South Africa were left tottering at 24/4. He then joined hands with Heinrich Klaasen (47) and made sure he bailed his team out of trouble. He added a 95-run partnership and put pressure back on the bowlers. 

David Miller started cautiously but once he had his eyes in, he made sure that he punished the bad balls. The Southpaw built his innings perfectly and the way he batted with the tail was something to cherish. 

David Miller slammed a magnificent century under pressure in the big game and made sure that his team went past 200 runs and bowlers have something to play with. He brought up his ton in just 115 balls and made everyone stand and applaud him for his heroics. 

David Miller ended with the knock of 101 runs off 116 balls. He batted with a strike rate of around 90 and also smashed 8 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. His rollicking effort powered South Africa to a total of 212 runs on the board. 

David Miller also scripted history as he became the first batter from South Africa to slam a century in the knockout stage of the ICC events. He provided his team with a fighting total on the board and now the onus would be on bowlers to help the team win.
