Australia National Cricket Team star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell took a great diving catch to dismiss the South Africa National Cricket Team tailender Kagiso Rabada in the second semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday, November 16.

Rabada, who is part of the long tail of the Proteas, chipped in with very important runs while batting down the order. He contributed 10 runs off 12 balls, with 1 six, that helped his side get to a respectable total. Rabada’s wicket was the last one for the innings as with his dismissal the South Africa National Cricket Team were bundled out for 212 in 49.4 overs.

On the 4th ball of the 50th over, Pat Cummins bowled a slower delivery on the stumps. Rabada tried to smash the ball for a boundary, but he didn’t get enough power in his shot. Rabada hit the ball straight and the Aussie fielder Glenn Maxwell ran, dived, and completed a good catch at long-on.
