    England World Cup Squad 2023, Players List, Schedule, Team List. England will aim to defend their title when they arrive in India for the ICC World Cup 2023. England is the defending champions of the tournament. They won the trophy in the previous edition by defeating New Zealand in the final.

    ICC World Cup 2023 begins on October 5. India is the host of the tournament. The ICC campaign will observe a battle between 10 teams. England, India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are part of the tournament.

    England will play the tournament opener on October 5. The defending champion will clash with New Zealand in the match. Both were the finalists of the last edition.

    England will play a total of 9 matches during the league stage of ICC World Cup 2023. Hence, they will face each team once before the semi-final. England will play their last match of the league stage against Pakistan on November 11.

    England has only won the ODI WC title once in the previous 2019 edition. However, England has reached the final on many occasions in the past and hence they are one of the strongest teams in the ODI WC tournament.

    England has already named their preliminary squad for the World Cup. Jos Buttler is set to lead the team in the tournament. England won the T20 World Cup last year in Australia. They will now aim to become the world champions in ODIs in the forthcoming tournament.

    England has named their preliminary squad for the tournament. Jos Buttler is the skipper of England in ODIs and will also lead the team in the tournament. Ben Stokes has recalled his ODI retirement and will play for England in the World Cup.
