India’s team is having a great time in the ICC World Cup 2023. Their performances have been enthralling as they ended the league stage undefeated. They won 9 out of their 9 games in the tournament and will now be looking to win the semi-final and make it 10 wins on the trot.

Apart from the performances, one thing that has been praised by many is the team environment. The players are in a good space and are gelling well in the tournament. They also have introduced a gold medal ceremony for the best fielder of the game and the team bonding during that ceremony has been eye-catching.

Each and every player cheers for the nominees and supports him. The cricketers often are seen sharing hilarious moments on the field. Overall, the atmosphere is pretty well and that has reflected in the field as well.

During the press conference ahead of the semi-final against New Zealand, Rohit Sharma was asked about the team environment. Replying to that he mentioned that they have put in great efforts to keep things light since the start of the tournament. He also spoke about a secret fashion show that was organized by the team in Dharamsala, where they faced New Zealand. Speaking to reporters, he explained:

“That’s a conscious effort. We wanted to build it and that can’t be done with one or two players. All of them have chipped including the support staff. We even had a secret fashion show which thankfully no one knows about. We have had a great environment since the start. We have done everything to keep the environment of the team easy.”
