Netherlands and Ireland face off in a three-match ODI series which is a part of the Cricket World Cup Super League. A good performance in the series will enable both these teams to qualify for the 50-over ODI World Cup. The Dutch are the only qualifying team in the competition. The side has been playing the same tournament at World Cricket League Division 2 level since 2015. They are also making a comeback into the format just after two weeks of playing Scotland. The two-match series was drawn at 1-1. The first of the three matches will be played on June 2 at the Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht.

On the other hand, the Irish will play their third series of the CWC Super League having played against England and Afghanistan in the competition. The side has won just one game in six matches losing most recently to the Afghan side. Afghanistan beat Ireland 3-0 in the recently completed ODI series. The Irish and the Dutch team have played mostly T20I games in the last few years with the Dutch having won seven out of their last nine games against the Irish in the white-ball format.

Who Will Win The Match-Match Prediction

The current form and the past history between both teams clearly suggest that Ireland have an upper hand on the Dutch in all cricketing history. Having played more cricket than their opposition in recent times, the Irish players are more match-ready than the Dutch. The track record strengthens even further with a stat that says Holland have never beaten the Irish at home.
