Fazalhaq Farooqi looked threatening with the ball in the ongoing match 30th of the ICC World Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka. The left-arm pacer was the shining light for his team at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

Fazalhaq Farooqi exhibited his brilliance with the ball as he was on the top of the Sri Lanka batters and put them under immense pressure. However, in the end, he was taken to runs by Maheesh Theekshana and he didn’t like it at all.

Maheesh Theekshana smashed Fazalhaq Farooqi for a big six in the 47th over. However, he took his revenge as he removed the Sri Lanka spinner three balls later with a bulls-eye yorker in Pune. The pacer bowled a full ball that was dipping in.

Maheesh Theekshana couldn’t get under the delivery and the ball crashed into the middle stump. As Fazalhaq Farooqi was sent packing with a searing yorker, he gave him an angry stare and was seen abusing him after that.
