Left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi is turning the game on his head in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 game against Bangladesh. The 31st match of the tournament is taking place between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Shaheen Afridi brought his side back into the game after Bangladesh batter Mahmudullah was trying to keep his team in the hunt. The pacer was brought into the attack by the skipper in the 31st over and he made sure that he repaid the faith of his skipper.

Shaheen Afridi produced a peach to dismiss well-set Mahmudullah. He bowled a delivery that came in back from the length. Mahmudullah tried to work it with the angle to the on-side, but as tried to do that by closing the face of the bat, the ball went past the outside edge and crashed into the middle and off.
