Australia opener David Warner and Rashid Khan share a great camaraderie between them. However, something different was seen during the ongoing game between Australia and Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

David Warner was livid with something as he was seen getting furious. He was having a conversation with Rashid Khan but it didn’t seem like a polite talk. The opener was spotted saying some harsh words to the spinner, who was looking serious.

The incident happened ahead of the start of the 5th over. David Waner and Rashid Khan chatted for a while before the leg-spinner left the talk in between with a smile on his face. Here’s the video of the spat between the two players:

David Warner however perished quickly after that as Azmatullah Omarzai castled him. The southpaw scored just 18 runs off 29 balls with the help of three boundaries. After his wicket, Australia lost wickets in quick succession and came under tremendous pressure.

They were reduced to 91/7 as Afghanistan bowlers bowled exceptionally well. However, Glenn Maxwell has bailed Australia out of trouble and has slammed a magnificent century. The bowling team however gave him two lives as they dropped two catches of him.

AUS vs AFG: Rashid Khan Removes Marcus Stoinis and Mitchell Starc

Rashid Khan has been amongst the wickets as well in the ongoing game against Australia. He has kept things tight with the ball and is making sure that his side stays in the hunt in the all-important clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Rashid Khan first troubled Marcus Stoinis and then trapped him in lbw. He didn’t let the all-rounder settle at him and put them under pressure. After that, he sent Micthell Starc packing. The fast bowler scored just 3 runs off 7 balls. The Leg spinner would be hoping that he picks a few more and wins the game for his team.
