Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz has had a memorable ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 campaign. The Afghans managed to pull off four wins out of nine matches in their World Cup campaign and Gurbaz scored 280 runs in nine innings with a massive strike rate of 98.94, including two half-centuries. Gurbaz always tried to give a flying start to the Afghanistan innings and he contributed to the team’s victory in almost every match.

Recently, he made a wonderful gesture just a day before Diwali when he went out at 3:00 AM in the morning to silently distribute money to the needy and homeless on the streets of Ahmedabad. A video of him silently keeping the money beside homeless people is getting viral for all the right reasons. Afghanistan was eliminated by South Africa in this World Cup but they won the hearts of all the Cricket fans with their performance and now with their gestures.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz, with his gesture, has lightened a lot of people’s Diwali who are underprivileged. This kind of empathy towards other people shows Gurbaz’s humbleness and he deserves every bit of success in his career. He would have received a lot of blessings from those people whom he helped with the money. These acts of philanthropy have a special place in everyone’s heart because Gurbaz did not want to boast about doing charity.
