Mitchell Marsh looked dangerous in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 final against India. The match is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and it’s keeping everyone on their toes with the way things are panning out.

Mitchell Marsh came out all guns blazing during Australia’s chase. He took the attack to the Indian bowlers and played some crisp shots. The all-rounder put the opposition team under tremendous pressure with his short stay at the crease.

Mitchell Marsh’s stay at the crease was cut short by Jasprit Bumrah. The pacer bowled a slightly short delivery to which the batter got the edge and was caught by keeper KL Rahul. After he got out one thing caught the attention of many and the video of that went viral on the internet.

As Micthell Marsh was walking back, he winked at an Indian fielder and went back smiling. Many fans raised concerns over the same. Here’s the video of the incident:

Mitchell Marsh ended with the knock of 15 runs off 15 balls. He batted with a strike rate of 100 and also smashed one six and one four in his innings. His wicket left Australia at 41/2. After his wicket, Steve Smith perished too and was left tottering at 47/3.

IND vs AUS: After Mitchell Marsh and Steve Smith’s wicket, Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne put Australia in a dominating position

After Micthell Marsh and Steve Smith got out, Australia came under a bit of pressure but Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne have bailed the team out of trouble and have played magnificently well. The duo has put India under tremendous pressure with the way they have batted.

Travis Head in particular has taken the attack to the Indian bowlers and has soaked in all the pressure. He’s on the verge of smashing the big ton whereas Marnus Labuschagne has supported him well. With the way they have batted, Australia seem favorites to win.
